Gary-Alan Hopkins is a thirty-five-year-old full-time student and a senior at Valley City State University studying Corporate Communications with a minor in Psychology. His decision to go back to academic life was facilitated by an auto accident while working as a Realtor in December of 2015. Suffering from chronic pain, a herniated disc and a traumatic brain injury, and unable to spend long hours in a car, at thirty-one he decided to return to University to finish his bachelor’s degree.
